We are the controller responsible for personal information used to handle enquiries and manage our design business. This policy covers visitors to this website and people who contact us about our services.

Information we use

If you email us or book a call, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, business contact information, appointment details and information about your project. Please only share information relevant to your enquiry, and avoid sending sensitive personal information unless we have agreed how to handle it.

Our hosting and delivery providers receive technical request information, such as an IP address, browser information and the pages or files requested, to deliver and protect the website.

Why we use information

• Enquiries and business communication: to answer questions and discuss suitable work. Our legitimate interest is running a design business and responding to people who contact us.
• Preparing and delivering work: to take steps you request before entering into a contract, or to perform a contract with you. Where you contact us on behalf of a company, our legitimate interest is managing that business relationship.
• Administration and records: to keep appropriate accounts and meet applicable legal obligations, and where necessary to establish or defend legal claims.
• Website delivery and security: our legitimate interest is maintaining an accessible, reliable and secure website.

You do not have to contact us or provide project information. Without the details needed to understand and respond to an enquiry, we may not be able to help.

Forms and newsletter sign-up

When you submit the enquiry form, the information you enter is sent to Now Then Design through Webflow, stored in our Webflow account and delivered to our business email. We use it to respond to your enquiry and discuss your project. You can also download a copy of your enquiry to your own device.

Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a mailing list. Newsletter sign-up is currently unavailable. You can also contact us by email or follow the booking link.

Services used by this website

• Webflow: hosts the website and delivers its pages and media. See Webflow’s privacy information.
• Adobe Fonts: delivers the site’s typefaces. Adobe receives the IP address needed to deliver a font and information about the font request. Adobe says its font delivery service does not set or use cookies. See Adobe Fonts privacy information.
• Content delivery networks: deliver website code, images, video and animation libraries. Those services receive the technical information necessary to respond to your browser’s requests.
• Cal.com: the booking button takes you to an external booking page. Details you provide there are used to arrange your call. See Cal.com’s privacy information.

Business information may also be handled by providers of email, scheduling, document storage and professional advice where needed for the purposes above, or disclosed where required by law. We do not sell personal information.

International processing

Some website and booking providers operate internationally, including in the United States, and may process information outside the UK. The arrangements depend on the provider and the service used. You can contact us for information about the providers and applicable transfer arrangements relevant to your enquiry. Their privacy information is linked above.

How long information is kept

We retain enquiry information for as long as needed to respond, consider proposed work and deal with relevant follow-up. If an enquiry becomes a project, relevant information becomes part of the client record.

Client and financial records are retained for the time needed to manage the relationship, meet applicable tax and accounting requirements and deal with potential legal claims. We assess retention by the purpose of the record, applicable legal requirements and whether it remains necessary. Provider-controlled technical records are subject to the relevant provider’s retention arrangements.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances and the lawful basis, you can ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction of use or transfer of information you provided. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. If we rely on your consent for any future activity, you can withdraw it without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
